Where to go if you’re a hungry student at UBC on a Thursday afternoon? The Pit at the SUB! Waffle fries poutine is a Thursday special for only $4.95. This combination was heavenly. Waffle fries are definitely better than normal fries because it doesn’t have excessive amounts of potatoes, and more crisp! The poutine melted the cheese, and created a savoury taste. Salty goodness. I’m drooling thinking about it. I got a fresh batch of waffle fries so that made it ten times better too. I know where I’m going every Thursday after class!
